accomplish them.<\/span><\/h5><h5><span style=\"color: #000080;\">When employees expend the effort to learn new skills and knowledge and are expected to implement such learning in their jobs, there should be some incentive to do so and some acknowledgment and reinforcement of that performance once it is achieved.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5><h5><span style=\"color: #000080;\">However, when training, performance measurement, and compensation are administered separately and not integrated within a larger, integrative HR strategy, there is less chance of that appropriate and necessary
