Lesson 1: Performance and its link to feedback<\/h2>\n

Feedback<\/h3>\n

We mean that being able to provide direct and constructive communication is essential to your team’s performance elevation or drop.<\/h5>\n
Feedback makes expectations clearer and therefore, helps people to learn from their past mistakes and helps in building the confidence to move forward.<\/h5>\n
But positive feedback is easy, it’s not very hard to find the right words to compliment someone, tell them that they’ve done a good job, or congratulate them on meeting a certain target.<\/h5>\n
When things are going well it can be an easy job to give praise; however, giving negative feedback is the tricky part and where most leaders could struggle.<\/h5>\n
It’s human nature to postpone or avoid difficult conversations or to try and soften the blow while delivering bad news and the problem with doing this is that the problem when its issues are not pinpointed is that over time it makes the problems multiply and eventually you find yourself dealing with a much bigger problem than where you started.<\/h5>\n
