We live in a world that constantly pushes us to aim higher and higher.<\/h5>\n
We’re always on the hunt for the next goal to achieve, the next target to reach, next learning to know.<\/h5>\n
It’s so overwhelming that it is easy to forget how far we have come, and what we have achieved.<\/h5>\n
It becomes so crowded that we forget the take time to appreciate our efforts and accomplishments and enjoy them.<\/h5>\n
When you or your team achieve success, you can’t ignore these moments.<\/h5>\n
A big motivation factor for you and your team is how you celebrate success, if you move forward to the next goal without the proper acknowledgment for it, you would be wasting the team’s long-awaited moment of recognition.<\/h5>\n
Also, if you just pass these moments saying “good work” or “well done” and then go back to discussing the next goals, you’re failing in the success celebration.<\/h5>\n
Missing those moments is a big factor in your team not being inspired as well, it’s a very important moment that through it your team can look forward to bigger achievements and you’ll be able to make your leadership stronger with them and more impactful.<\/h5>\n
Why is that important? Failing to do that, despite it dropping morale and for the team to feel demotivated, impacts your image, your reputation, your relationships, and your own performance because you will be surrounded by very tense energy.<\/h5>\n
if you move over your team’s successes without recognition, what does that say about you as a leader? How do you think the team thinks and feels about a leader when their efforts go unappreciated?<\/h5>\n
Those perceptions also reflect on the company environment as a whole, and ultimately it can lead to the loss of some of your top achievers.<\/h5>\n
Take a football team for an example, what happens when they win? They celebrate! Everyone cheers and they run around and hug each other for the win.<\/h5>\n
Football is mainly depending on teamwork, if you fail to be a team player, you’ll fail as a football player.<\/h5>\n
Same applies to the workplace, it’s about teamwork and it falls under your area to boost the morale of the team and make sure that they are collaborating together for the best outcome.<\/h5>\n
