Integrating Training with Performance Management Systems and Compensation \n<\/h3>\n
HR Managers must ensure that desired results of training are reinforced when employees achieve or accomplish them.<\/h5>\n
When employees expend the effort to learn new skills and knowledge and are expected to implement such learning in their jobs, there should be some incentive to do so and some acknowledgment and reinforcement of that performance once it is achieved.\u00a0<\/h5>\n
However, when training, performance measurement, and compensation are administered separately and not integrated within a larger, integrative HR strategy, there is less chance of that appropriate and necessary reinforcement.<\/h5>\n
When employees are asked to learn critical new skills and\/or absorb important new knowledge and apply this in their jobs, how their performance is assessed must reflect these changes.<\/font><\/h5>\n
The more critical the skills and knowledge are to the organisation’s strategy, the greater the emphasis that should be placed on assessing the in the organisation’s performance management system.<\/font><\/h5>\n
