EL ARABY Group is a very well-known electronics manufacturing and importing organisation,<\/h5>\n
Originated in Egypt. Since 1964, it has had many fruitful relationships with multiple international brands<\/h5>\n
Such as Japanese SHARP – Japanese TOSHIBA – Japanese HITACHI – Italian LA GERMANIA – Japanese ALBA – Italian HOOVER – Japanese giant SONY and many others.<\/h5>\n
EL ARABY Group is very well known due to many factors like having the best after-sales service and high accountability.<\/h5>\n
But the biggest reason why the group gained its fame is the effective leadership of Hajj Mahmoud Al Araby.<\/h5>\n
A brief on this iconic leader, Hajj Mahmoud Al-Araby was born in 1932 as part of an indigent family in Ashmoun, Al Menoufia.<\/h5>\n
His father passed away when he was young age. He received little education, he left when he reached grade four because his family could no longer afford to keep him in class.<\/h5>\n
El Araby worked from an early age, at first selling cheap toys to boys in his village.<\/h5>\n
He then moved to Cairo and began working in shops, eventually opening his first business, a stationary shop, with two partners.<\/h5>\n
When, a few years later, one of the partners opted to leave the business and El Araby’s second partner died, he would send profits from the shop to the latter’s children.<\/h5>\n
Mahmoud Al-Araby then moved to live in Cairo and worked as a salesman in a small shop for stationery. In 1964 he partnered with his brothers and founded El Araby Group.<\/h5>\n
The company began by selling electrical appliances in a local market called Al-Moski in Egypt, and by 1975 had become the authorized distributor of the Japanese Toshiba brand.<\/h5>\n
He subsequently established Toshiba’s largest factory outside Japan and acquired licenses to assemble and distribute other Japanese brands.<\/h5>\n
Such was his profile in Japan that in 2009 he was awarded the Medal of the Rising Sun by Japanese Emperor Akihito.<\/h5>\n
Eventually, he turned out to become the co-founder of one of the largest business entities in Egypt.<\/h5>\n
