The theory asserts that no one type of leadership style is appropriate for all situations, and thus, a leader must assess the situation, determine the level of support from the group, and then select the appropriate leadership style.<\/h5>\n<h5>The Vroom-Yetton-Jago model proposes that there are five different decision-making styles, ranging from autocratic to democratic, and that the leader&#8217;s choice of style depends on the situation at hand.
