Laissez-faire Leadership Style<\/h3>\n

Laissez-faire or delegative leadership has been introduced by the french social psychologist, Kurt Lewin.<\/h5>\n
Let go. Let it be.<\/h5>\n
This is what the term laissez-faire means when translated into English.<\/h5>\n
Or you can refer to it as, Delegative leadership which in this case is mostly self explanatory.<\/h5>\n
Laissez-faire leaders have an attitude of trust and reliance on their teams. They don’t micromanage or get too involved, they don’t give too much instruction or guidance throughout the progress of their teams.<\/h5>\n
Instead, they let their team use their own creativity, identify their available resources and use them on their own, and their own experience to help them achieve goals.<\/h5>\n
This kind of leadership is very hands-off, leaders trust their employees on a high level and are confident in their team’s abilities.<\/h5>\n
They give guidance and take responsibility only when needed, but this leadership style means that team members have the real lead. This style is not for all leaders and for some team members, dislike this leadership style.<\/h5>\n
